Sweet Valentine


Surprise, surprise. Today is one of my least favorite "holidays". I don't have to even explain why. Because it's the same reason as everyone else who hates today. But I have to admit that I've been growing more and more fond of this day. Why you ask? And no, it's not because I have a boyfriend.

As I sit at my desk listening to Michael Bolton....bahaha ano. Do you really think I'd be listening to that garbage today? Anyway, I realize I forgot my breakfast at home. Lucky for me cupid delivered a little Valentine gift- CHOCOLATE. Today is the one day that it's totally acceptable to eat chocolate for breakfast, right?! I mean just think about it.

Are you thinking what I'm thinking? Valentine's Day is all  about chocolate. That's the love and happiness. Chocolate will be your date this Valentine's and he will never disappoint.

Ferris Bueller was so right - Life moves pretty fast. You don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it. My life has been busy, so I've done a horrible job at blogging. My Creativity Has Returned!

Note to self- whenever I want to accomplish something, post about it on my blog. I have finally accomplished some scrapbooking AND some wedding planning. Look at me go! It just took a little bit of guilt from posting about it...and TA-DA! So where to begin? I've accomplished so much. Ok, well really not a lot...but compared to the last 2 months it's A LOT. Let's start with some scrapbooking shall we? But not right away. First we need to admire my lovely salsa I canned this weekend. Yes. I also canned salsa this week. No big deal. I received an e-mail from my dad asking if I was coming home. It was followed by CANNING IS FUN! I NEED YOUR HELP. He must have been desperate. And I knew I would get to keep some for myself so I figured why not? So let's take a minute to admire all of those tomatoes I juiced, the peppers, jalapenos and onions I cut (and shed tears for), and the minutes I spent over the warm stove stirring this deliciousness. I DID IT! Last PL 2013 Post

Whew. I did it. I can check one of my 2014 goals off the list. I finished my 2013 Project Life album. Like always, I started out strong. Then towards the end I lost momentum. I just wanted to be done. Maybe I'll go back and add more to the pages, change them up a bit. But for now it's finished. And I'm happy. week of November 10-16- I'm sure you noticed my lovely eye picture- sorry about that. But this week was more about pictures, and less about journaling. I used cards from WRMK for this page. The "notes" journaling paper at the top is from the $1 bins at Target- what a find! week of November 17- 23 - More eye pictures...sorry (or am I?!). This week we celebrated Thanksgiving with Brandon's family since we were going to be in Hawaii the next week. Like usual, I forgot to take pictures at Thanksgiving. One day I'll take a pictures...one day. How cute are those little turkey and fox stickers?! Thank you Michaels $1 sticker books :) w
